16th-18th

16th -
So on the 16th I went to towers to buy Sindhu's present and at night went to her 18th! It was so chill and nice and just really really beautiful and she was beautiful and everything was. Honestly it has been too long since a party like that! (Which reminds me to get a move on with my own...) But afterwards, I went to chill with a few people and honestly one of the best nights of my life! I experienced so many new things and yeah it was just so nice. Especially the dares and playing games on the streets at 4am and going to McDonalds at 5am and I drank a little bit but it didn't even feel like anything! (Except the burning of the throat part...that was a little new) but yeah, I was still me and I'm glad it was like that! I also got to get to know people better and see them in different perspectives and honestly some people are such cuties in the inside.

17th
I then came home at 7am and slept for an hour and went to maths tutoring and then came home again and slept for 3 hours and then went to this med application help thing and watched a movie and honestly the night went by so quickly.

18th
Today I bummed around like usual and went to play so bball with some friends and it was so much fun! Haven't exercised like that in ages. Anyway I think I'm getting slightly lazy....with this...BUT tomorrow I will definitely be back into it. I just know it. Also want to add in some photos from the night and stuff and yeah okokok

love always,
lucy.

3rd day of freedom

I am currently eating a choco pie as I am writing this. Life is good.
Before I continue on with today, I thought I would start off with what I did yesterday!
Living up the post-trial life, I woke up at 1 and had breakfast and bummed around on the computer until I went to towers with my grandma. We walked about 30 mins to the bus stop and caught a bus. (The bus driver was so rude wow I need to rant about rude people ok note to self-ing this.) And we went to the Korean grocery and the pharmacy and bought what she needed and it felt really nice to help her and spend time with her! She is also a beast - an 86 year old walking for 3 hours. Afterwards when we came home, I bummed around on the computer again (surprise surprise) and watched Eternal Sunshine of the Spotted Mind but only the first 30 minutes because it was so sad and I can't ever watch sad movies by myself ):

Anyway so this morning...well afternoon I woke up at 12 (IMPROVEMENT HUZZAAAAAAH) and I had a shower and got ready to go to towers once again to buy a friends birthday present and some comfortable wedges! I met Sit there and it was nice because she's such a glowy happy child! :-) Now I'm home after walking home from the bus stop - and damn is it far. I used to not think it was but it is. It so is. Especially when you're carrying heavy bags ):

So I have Sindhu's 18th to get ready for soon and I'm so excited! Can't wait to see everyone - haven't seen people in forever! (Or so it feels!)

Love always,
Lucy.

Fourteenlicious

Today I went to Chatswood with my mum in the morning for a haircut so I couldn't sleep in...but it was worth it! I went to the hairdressers first and straightened my hair out permanently, and got it thinned out. Originally I was going to dye it too but she suggested I do it next week so I don't damage it too much in one go, which I agreed to so can't wait till then!
Nonetheless, it took 3 hours....my butt was numb! :)

Afterwards I met up with my mum for lunch and we had pho and it was delicious and afterwards I went shopping once more! I spent so much but I honestly bought the things I truly loved or needed so I am definitely happy!

I bought my first powder from MAC and the guy there was super duper nice and told me I had a lovely tan for an asian :-)

Also bought my first circle skirt, some necklaces....concealer...and the list goes on. Anyway as one does, I got tired after a few hours and went off to Gloria Jeans and had a strawberry italian soda. These are the bomb trust me.

And I also read whilst waiting for my mum to finish work. Man that book is so fantastic and chilling and unnerving but honestly can't stop reading it! Although can't read it for more than an hour at a time! Anyway I'm so tired so goodnight!

Love always, Lucy.

Trials are over.

Today marks the day of a new beginning (kind of). Trials are over - which means momentary freedom. I am so so so so oso sngkalnheldangkae FREAKING excited and right now I just feel so happy to be finally able to chill. It feels so foreign and I keep feeling as if I should be studying but hey I'm not complaining.

Today's exam was extension english. I'm a little worried for that along with modern and 3u and lol everything but I guess I can hope for the best.

After the exam, Andrea picked Emma and I up and we went to Parra, met up with Chels, and had a beautiful lunch at a restaurant on Church street. Not too sure what its called, but it was pretty good! I ordered a risotto for the first time ever and man was it filling. But, of course; Andrea came to save me when I couldn't finish it!

I know the risotto doesn't look tooo good here, but trust me it was. That's Andrea's chicken something something in the background. Emma ordered a Vegetable Risotto and Chels ordered battered fish. (Hehe she had a craving.)

After Lunch, we went to ALL the shops. When we were walking by it was so hard to go past those sale signs but it's okay. In the end we resisted and everything was good. We ended up going into a store with $5 EVERYTHING and basically Me, Andrea and Emma bought the same midriff? Cropped top? It was a turtleneck though which made it even better. Its the black top below.

(Please ignore the mess in the background hehe.)

I also bought this graphic, illuminati shirt. Not that I believe it or anything. I just thought it was a sick graphic!

I think after this we went to some other stores in Parra, and the above blue high-waisted, acid wash jeans have to be my favourite find of today! I absolutely adore them and cannot wait to wear them tomorrow! I'm getting my hair cut and possibly dyed and I'm going shopping once more! YAAAAYYY.

Anyway once I got home after the lovely Andrea dropped me, I cleaned my room and vacuumed the house because I seriously owe so much to my parents who catered to all my needs during the trials as well as in the lead up. My brother was also came home today with his girlfriend, and it was nice seeing him for the first time in a while! My parents are always so happy when he is.

Also, the Michael Kors bag my mum had also ordered for my birthday finally arrived, whilst a family friend bought me a matching Michael Kors wallet!

(Again, I CAN'T WAIT to use these babies tomorrow!!!! AHHHH)

Along with all these beautiful items, I am going to re-make my itunes library so I can actually be happy to put my phone on shuffle and be happy to listen to all the songs! I CANNOT WAIT! Going to also watch Suits season 3 sometime and just be happy and relax and I hope the rest of my friends who are still going through exams are able to soldier on and continue with what they're doing because they're going to do amazingly! :-)

Anyway I think this has to be one of the longest posts ever so I should stop and get to my music! YES.

But other than that...Note to self: Buy a circle skirt tomorrow! And some nice comfortable heels.

Love always,
Lucy.

Another day of studying

So this morning started off with maths tutor, and then I got back home and then I studied and then I studied. (With of course, moments of procrastination....where moments can be defined as long periods of time. Who am I kidding.) Hehe oh well todays nearly over already which means I'm one step closer until finishing trials so I am super duper excited!

On another note, I had a wonderful surprise today!
My beautiful friends, Tiffany and Alvin came to my house and surprised me with a cute cupcake and my favourite chocolates. They could not have come at a better time, and most definitely made my whole day! First Andrea, now them. I am truly so blessed. But I must have taken a bit longer than anticipated to come down because....

The candles basically melted HAHA but it was still nice!

Nonetheless, such a beautiful sentiment. Honestly made me smile for the rest of the night. Anyway, after trials I hope to make a weekly kind of post where I insert some of the things that have inspired me for the week! Most likely going to be images I've already posted on my tumblr - but the ones that really hit home will be here. Anyway, not too sure if this has all been too coherent but hopefully it still makes sense!

Love always, Lucy.

I find it ludicrous

In our syllabus - it tells us to develop our own individual understanding of certain concepts. Yet, if we say anything that the marker does not agree with or believes is wrong, we are immediately "punished" (in terms of marks). How fabulous.
